Existing social media tracks everything about you and sells it off to the highest bidder, or bypasses individual liberties by selling it to governments that cannot legally collect it themselves.

Freefrog believes everyone is entitled to privacy. We believe you are more valuable than the data collected about you. That's why by default, all of your data is yours. You can do whatever you want with it. We do not claim ownership, nor do we claim rights to use it at will. What you create belongs to you. The only exception is illegal content — we do not allow it and will share it with authorities.

You also have the option of creating an anonymous account. This type of account requires no personal information from you. Anonymous accounts cannot generate revenue (that requires personally identifiable information — which is, of course, your choice).

Freefrog was built to raise the extremely low bar of existing social networks. Freefrog is built for inclusivity of all viewpoints. We believe open discussion and debate is paramount to the progress of any culture. We abhor cancel culture and hindrance to the exercise of free speech. Your views, your art, your (almost) whatever can be expressed here unabated, no matter who you are, what political views you hold, or what beliefs you carry.

We have very few rules in how you express yourself on freefrog. To sum them up: this isn't Pornhub, you can't threaten to hurt people, and you can't use freefrog for trafficking illegal items. Any indication of this will result in investigative action and nullifies any commitments we have made to you.

We expect everyone to behave like adults — which means sometimes you're going to encounter people who think differently than you, and may even insult you. We do not encourage this behavior, but we are not here to police you. You have full power and authority to police yourself and your profile so that your experience here is what you want it to be.

In a way, this whole thing is a great big experiment, and you get to decide if you want to be a part of it.

Everything about freefrog is intended to promote a choice. Your theme, your layout, types of content you want on your page, whether you go public or stay hidden, what ads you see and what you want viewers to see — pretty much whatever you want. Freefrog blends the boundaries between social media and content management system. How you use it is up to you.

Included in that choice is whether you host advertisements. No other social media gives you a choice. Their revenue is generated by hosting ads that you, or your subscribers, will see whether you want it or not. In other words, YOU are their product, and YOU are generating their money, but YOU are not reaping any of the rewards. Here, you can choose to see and host ads — and if you do, you get a portion of the ad revenue generated. Zero obligation. It's your choice.

Great personal freedom comes with great personal responsibility. You are responsible for your decisions — including what content you view, who you follow, and which conversations you choose to be a part of. We trust each of you to make good decisions for yourself. We will not take away a person's voice just because others find it offensive or untrustworthy.

You are always free to unfollow, mute, block, or skip. Ultimately, the experience you have here will be entirely up to you.
